Looks like the Bulls have moved on from the Tracy McGrady experiment… Not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, if healthy, he could still easily score 10-15 pts a game, and be a legitimate threat for the Bulls off the bench. On the other, he spent the last two seasons sitting and whining in Houston, while making 23 MILLION DOLLARS A SEASON, so who’s to say he’s going to have a good attitude coming off the bench in Chicago?
Bulls set two prerequisites for McGrady to meet before signing him: Good health, and willingness to come off the bench. This wold be the Bulls’ sixth FA signing of the summer, behind Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer, CJ Watson, and Kurt Thomas. McGrady, if healthy could really help us this year as a shooter/scorer off the bench.
Lets not forget that before the knee surgeries, this guy lead the league in scoring twice and was one of the top 5 players in the NBA for a couple years.
